SB Babe Ruth won big over St Albans 12-5 on Tuesday.

South Burlington jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Will Smith doubled, scoring two runs, Jackson Young singled, scoring one run, and Maddox DuBois singled, scoring one run.

SB added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Dominic Comtois tripled, and St Albans committed an error, each scoring two runs.

St Albans scored five runs on three hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Owen drew a walk, scoring one run, Parker singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Noah drew a walk, scoring one run, and an error scored one run.

DuBois pitched five innings in relief for South Burlington. He surrendered six hits and five runs (three earned) while, striking out four and walking six. Shreyas Sarepalli started the game for SB. He allowed zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out two and walking four.

Comtois and Ben Angelino each collected two hits for SB Babe Ruth. Comtois and Smith each drove in two runs for SB. South Burlington had patience at the plate, accumulating 10 walks for the game. Asher Krompf, Sarepalli, and Henry Clark led the team with two free passes each. Bradley Clark stole two bases. South Burlington turned one double play in the game.

Parker and Owen were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in one run for St Albans. Jackson, Parker, Matt, Ryker, Mike, and Nicco each collected one hit for St Albans. Brauden led St Albans with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing 10 walks for the game. St Albans turned one double play in the game.
